About Summit Photography of New Hampshire:

Summit Photography of New Hampshire is a progressive photographic arts company based in East Wakefield, New Hampshire.
Knowing that today’s clients and subjects need more than just a typical photographic service, Summit Photography operates
around a few simple, yet essentially important principals:

~KEEP PRICING SENSIBLE

Today’s typical photographic services can run upwards of a month’s salary for some clients. Yes, your photographs are valuable,
but there is no need to pay prices that are simply outrageous. We operate simply and keep costs low, and although we are
proud of our photographs, we won’t price them arrogantly. Just because we are based in the Lakes Region does not mean
that you will pay “Lakes Region Prices”...

~LET THE CLIENT OWN THEIR PICTURES WITHOUT HASSLE

Copyright details can be frustrating and confusing; especially when you happen to want copies of your photos sometime
down the road. That is why after you complete your purchase, Summit Photography owns your photos with you jointly, meaning
that we share equal ownership and reproduction rights. We feel that since we shared in the experience, we can share the image.

~THINK CONVENIENCE

Summit Photography understands that the day to day balance of work and life can often make the “extras” difficult to
accomplish. Summit Photography is available to photograph you using a studio set-up in East Wakefield at our base, or
at any other reasonable location. Your need for photographic services can take place at any time, and any place- so
whether your wedding is in Portsmouth or Franconia, or whether you want your engagement portraits taken in Bartlett or
Fitzwilliam, it doesn’t make a bit of difference. Summit Photography of New Hampshire can and will be there for you.

~BE THANKFUL OF CLIENTS

Summit Photography of New Hampshire is focused on YOU, the client. We work to understand your needs and deliver on
them. We will always be attentive and communicative with you. Our eye for detail and art, and our sense of timing and style
will be sure to surprise and delight. We will always go out of our way for you.

~BE THOUGHTFUL OF THE COMMUNITY

Keep those local dollars local! Summit Photography of New Hampshire always hires other New Hampshire based businesses
to perform the work that cannot be done in-house. This keeps money cycling through the local economy, and helps
to keep it growing. Summit Photography is thoughtful to not abuse resources, and is active in giving back to the
communities throughout the State.

About your Photographer, Matthew I. Stearns

Matthew Stearns is a Native of New Hampshire, and he understands what it means to be a part of the granite state. Matthew grew up in the Upper Valley Area of the State in the Village of Canaan, where he learned the meaning of hard work and the value of people. After finishing school at Mascoma, Matthew relocated to Concord to experience a more urban setting, and begin his post-secondary studies. It didn’t take much time for him to crave a more rural setting again, and soon he moved to Durham and began attending the University of New Hampshire. He also soon found himself compelled to travel North in order to venture back into the mountains that were so familiar to him as a boy. In very little time, Matthew became an avid, all-seasons hiker. After some minor moves to Newmarket, and to Dover, Matthew finished his studies at the University and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology (Magna Cum Laude). He then made his final relocation to East Wakefield, New Hampshire. His love for the photographic arts are a result of his relocations, his adventures into the White Mountains, and his exposure to the beauty of other world cultures as recorded in the photographs of his professors at the University.

Matthew’s abilities to capture the land and the people of New Hampshire have gained local attention. His business ideals have brought pause to the communities in which he works. As an assistant vice president and Branch Manager for one of the largest financial institutions in the United States, he has gained the invaluable skills of management and customer service excellence. Finally, and perhaps what he is most proud of, Matthew is a volunteer for the Mount Washington Observatory. He spends one consecutive week each year assisting the staff at the tallest peak in the Northeast with a variety of tasks. He chooses to hike the mountain each time, rather than accepting the ride up on the Snowcat or Coach Van, and he contributes selflessly to the mission of the observatory, which is a not-for-profit organization.
